Turkey is an attractive, emerging market for high-tech enterprises. As a result, BITKOM has teamed up with CeBIT to make Turkey the official Partner Country for 2011.
The signature of the memorandum of Understanding between BITKOM and TÜBISAD, the Turkish ICT association and strategic partner of BITKOM, on October 7, 2010 in Istanbul was the official kick off for the partner country activities.

The agenda for the partner year 2011 includes apart from the German-Turkish ICT-Summit on March 1, 2011 and several workshops during CeBIT 2011 also a number of events as well in Turkey as in Germany. The initiative is expected to give a boost to ICT cooperation between companies of both countries.
At the German-Turkish ICT-Summit, BITKOM and its partners presents a study, summarizing the main findings of a survey on German-Turkish ICT cooperation.
